My Approach
I provide a professional service with respect and kindness at its core.
From the first contact, I listen carefully and ask gentle, appropriate questions.
This allows me to gain a clear understanding of the concerns, needs and hopes you bring.
Who I Work With
I work with individuals and a range of group types, including:
Individuals
Married couples
Family groups
Mixed groups involving elders and community members
Working With Church Elders
Church elders often contact me when they have concerns about a community member.
In these situations, I may request to meet with the person who is struggling, and — when appropriate — an elder and a family member.
Types of Consultations
All my contact with the PBCC is organised through professional arrangements.
I offer:
Telephone consultations
Video consultations
Face-to-face, in-person consultations
The structure and format vary according to the needs of those involved.
Supporting Those Who Support Others
I often speak — always in confidence — with people who are concerned about someone else.
This support is an important part of my work.
Confidentiality
Confidentiality is both a legal and moral requirement of my profession.
With every new person, I establish a clear confidentiality protocol before any work begins.
This is essential.
